This time Nick has found us an internet toy to abuse. It's the AT & T Research labs text to speech engine. The competition is simple. Just make it sound as stupid as possible. I don't care how. Make up words, make it says funny things, whatever. Swearing is always a good way to look clever, you could try that!
This is probably one of those "do-at-home" things as it does require speakers or headphones. I'm sure you'll all find a way to do it. You'll have to download the file and then email it to me. Same deal as last time, winner gets one item from Amazon of £20 value or less. Jo got her copy of "Bleak House" on Friday so the system works.

Chore wars is possibly the greatest and nerdiest concept I have heard of in a very very long time. In effect this is a chore or domestic task management tool that awards you Experience points for each task you complete. Giving your nerd a real chance to see how he is levelling up in those bathroom cleaning skills. Im tempted. I really really am. Debbie, see if you can get Brian addicted to this instead of WoW!
